A cat just walked into my garage naturally, as if he lived there. I had to keep carrying him out. Every time I picked him up, he would instantly start purring. The cat spent a great day with the kids on the street, and was quite a loveable character. By nightfall, though, it was clear something was wrong, and that the cat had come looking for help. The kids in the street started crying, we didn’t think the cat would make it through the night. We don’t have any 24 hour emergency pet services where we live. Surprisingly, it made it until the morning when I tried to find help for him.
One of my neighbors took him to a vet just in time. He had some serious bugs and a broken leg. The vet got him all fixed up, and he is quite happy now. As we look for a permanent home for him, we are trying to raise some money to help pay for his bill.
Since the kids wanted to do a fundraiser here on the street, I decided to do the same thing online. All the proceeds from my Digital Cards and Coloring Pages Collection for the first two weeks of August 2021 will help pay Sese the cat’s bills. (After that contact me to see if I have a cause I am giving to at that time). I am going to take 50% off the prices to see if I can get people to just pitch in a couple of dollars to help the cause.
